Here is your opportunity to join Tameside's thriving Local History Forum and to take part in the various events organised throughout the year. More than 20 groups meet locally and act as a focal point for all the elements of local history in the borough. We also have many individual members with various areas of interest.

Any local history or heritage group can join the forum for an annual subscription of twenty pounds sterling, renewable each January at our Annual General Meeting. Individuals can also join for a reduced fee of £5.

Groups or individuals are then included in our distribution list for news and events of anything of interest locally.

You will also be allowed free webspace to advertise your group's activites, no technical skills required.
