MEDLOCK & TAME VALLEY
CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION
Who are we? Where do we meet? What do we do?
We are a group of people who are interested in:
- The conservation of the environment in the Medlock and Tame Valleys and the surrounding districts, both urban and rural.
- The preservation of natural rivers and their tributaries, the protection of flora and fauna, the preservation of structures of architectural or archaeological interest and the prevention of litter, pollution and damage to amenities in the Medlock and Tame Valleys.
- The maintenance of the house and garage at No. 5 Oaken Clough Terrace, Ashton-under-Lyne as the headquarters of the Association and for any other use deemed suitable by the members.
- The maintenance of the land associated with No. 5 Oaken Clough Terrace as a wildlife garden and for any other use deemed suitable by the members.
We are looking for new members!
12 April at 7.15 - The Secret Life of Hedgehogs with Withington Hedgehog trust
17 May at 7.15 - Going bats with the South Lancashire Bat Group.
Events Ł2 per person incl. refreshments.
Please park cars at Oldham Road end of Oaken Clough as car parking is restricted.
